TriDefense features summary

MODIFIABLE TERRAIN: Flood the land, or build over water, creating new paths for your enemies. Use it to explore new and unique strategies.

FREE PATH TOWER DEFENSE: Place your towers freely in the battle field, and expect your enemies coming from virtually anywhere.

LOTS OF MISSIONS: Beat your enemies in several missions, each one with unique objectives and a carefully planned terrain to challenge you. Enjoy each mission in the Rookie difficulty and get ready for the Expert!

THREE KINDS OF ENEMIES: Besides the ground and air enemies available in most tower defense games, fight the new water enemies.

SMART ENEMIES: They will find your weakest spots and exploit them. Watch out!

SHIELDED ENEMIES: They will resist your fire unless you degrade their shield with the special anti-shield tower.

TOWER ARSENAL: Deploy your 18-strong tower arsenal, each one with multiple upgrade paths.

POSITIONAL AUDIO: Use your ears to know where the enemies are coming from!

TriDefense 0.9.2 submitted today!

Version 0.9.2 of TriDefense was submitted today to the iTunes App Store.

A whole LOT of bugs were fixed in these version, and also some features added. Here is an outline:

  • added feedback for terrain removal
  • balanced damage produced by some towers
  • more fluid gameplay: waves start to overlap as levels increase
  • reduced memory usage by 30% (less crashes)
  • fixed crash while removing terrain
  • fixed audio crashes at the end of the game
  • fixed crash while inserting towers
  • fixed A.I. glitch
  • better handling of notifications (alarms, sms) and icoming calls

Next stop, version 1.0!

TriDefense v0.9.1 announcement

We’re working on a minor release which we will be pushing to the App Store this week.

These bug fixes include:

  • Some random crashes during the course of the game (memory issue)
  • A frequent crash at the end of the game.

TriDefense is available on the iPhone App Store.

We are glad to announce that the pre-release version of TriDefense, our latest game for the iPhone and iPod Touch, has been approved for sale today.

TriDefense is a free path tower defense game with a unique feature: modifiable terrain. Flood the land or build over water, creating new paths for your enemies. This opens a whole new world of possible strategies to win the game.

This pre-release version availabe today (link to App Store) sells for $0.99 (US dollars) and includes a free upgrade to the release version (1.0) when it comes out. The final version price will be $3.99.

The team at Kalio is working hard to bring you the release version (1.0) as soon as possible. It will include more missions, and a couple of surprises.
